White Rabbit Japan is working to elevate e-commerce between Japanese sellers and overseas buyers. At the core of this effort are our Japan Rabbit and Blackship products. Japan Rabbit makes buying from Japan hassle-free for thousands of people and businesses worldwide. Blackship makes forwarding packages from Japan faster and easier for businesses and individuals.

Your Role as a Designer:

• Visionary Design: Translate ideas and feedback from our internal and external customers into value-added features and enhancements.
• Collaboration: Partner closely with me, our engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless blend of design and functionality.
• Customer Discovery: Engage directly with our users, understanding their needs, gathering insights, and reflecting their voice in your designs.
• Feedback Driven: Actively seek feedback on your work, iterating based on data and user perspectives.
• Delight Factor: Always keep an eye on delighting our customers, ensuring every design decision enhances their experience.

What You Bring to the Table

Essential Qualifications:

• Proven experience in digital design with an emphasis on user experience.
• A diverse portfolio showcasing a blend of innovative design solutions.
• Strong Verbal and Visual Communication Skills: Adept at understanding, translating feedback, and conveying ideas through mockups, prototypes, and the written word.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in customer discovery and user research.
• A knack for collaborating with multi-functional teams, especially engineering.
• An innate desire to continuously improve, fueled by feedback and a passion for design excellence.
