Job Title: Project Manager

Position Type: Full-time/ Contract

Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management within an IT environment, with a focus on software implementations and cloud-based solutions. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to manage cross-functional teams, and strong client-facing communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate discussions and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable business insights for clients.
  • Anticipate challenges, analyze business needs, and implement creative solutions to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain high standards of integrity, professionalism, and discretion when handling sensitive matters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of project management experience within an IT environment.
  • PMP Certification is required; additional certifications (e.g., Agile, Scrum Master) are an asset.
  • Strong understanding of IT software implementations and cloud-based solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools (MS Project, Planner, Monday).
  • Energy, Oil & Gas experience is preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Exceptional ability to manage cross-functional teams and facilitate discussions.
  • Strong client-facing communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Highly organized with advanced time management skills, able to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive matters with integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
