Project Manager (Localisation & Content)

As the Project Manager, you'll support our technology client with localisation and content production for our client’s Japan eCommerce presence and channels. The expanding website provides unique challenges and new opportunities every day as it builds the bridge between technology, hardware, retail, logistics, and consumers.

Role: 

• Manage large-scale eCommerce website’s marketing content initiatives with multiple workstreams in a highly dynamic environment.

• Manage and execute the pipeline of Japan localised content when collaborating with global, regional and local content production counterparts and external agencies. 

• Develop schedules to ensure timely completion of projects and maintain process and project documentation.
• Project manage and lead efforts between multiple stakeholders and teams across a multi-dimensional team
• Manage and prioritise frequent feedback from multiple stakeholders as projects develop, including flagging shortfalls and proactively identifying possible solutions
• Maintain and advocate high levels of craft and accuracy for every part of the end-to-end processes and across all assets
• Championing diversity and inclusions across the workstreams, internal teams, and external partners
• Educate stakeholders and agencies on processes and guidelines for projects

You:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience ideally in technology, eCommerce or agency with accounts from the former industries. 
• 5+ years of marketing and project management experience is 
• Prior localisation, content management and scheduling experience 
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing, dynamic and highly creative environment
• Able to think strategically and has the ability to define, run and prioritise across a range of complex programs with multiple workstreams
• Experience with marketing operations across online channels (website, mobile), managing launch timelines, localisation rigour and launch programs across diverse markets for the online space
• Strong project management skills and ability to execute within timelines, with multiple stakeholders and reviewers. 
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time with high accuracy when driving all stakeholders towards the same business goal
• Able to synthesise launch schedules, effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally across time zones and levels
• Experience working with creative agencies to deliver creative assets and copy
• Verbal and written native Japanese language proficiency is a must-have for this role
• Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills.
