Job Description

LeverageTek is actively seeking a Project Manager for a 3-month part-time contract with its Ottawa-based customer.

Work Location

Remote (An Ottawa-based location preferred)

Key Tasks

The Project Manager will be responsible for the following:

1. Support the ongoing implementation of the project

• Maintain and update the overall project plan, resource plan, and schedules, as needed
• As needed, create individual tactic workback plans to support team implementation work
• Support Tactics Teams in their implementation of the project, including providing feedback and guidance when requested
• Participate in weekly stand-up project team meetings to share information and effectively ensure smooth implementation, and attend other team meetings as required to support implementation

1. Support key project and tactic metrics

• Support team on developing regular metric reporting templates for individual tactics
• Organize tactic results and produce documentation to enable data analysis to measure impact
• Support team with data analysis with available measurements to identify and document future opportunities for consideration

1. Report to Steering Committee

• Benefits log & reporting
• Update risk monitoring and action logs
• Track project changes and produce updated project documentation
• Track and manage project decision log
• Participate in bi-weekly steering committee meetings

1. Future Planning

• Once budget and project scope for Year Three (Aug 2025 to July 2026) are approved, support overall project and tactic planning for Year Three
• Create high and medium-level project plan to enable tactical workback schedule planning

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Digital Communications or Digital Marketing Program Implementation Project Manager
• Demonstrated experience in creating project plans, workback schedules, and reports on communications projects.
• Experience working with and organizing data in Excel.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s or graduate degree in communications or a related field, or an equivalent amount of combination of education and work experience.
• Demonstrated experience in recognizing and resolving risks proactively.
• Ability to work with key business stakeholders to define and manage project requirements.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively and effectively using the Microsoft suite – Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence without authority.
• Strong collaboration skills.
• Experience managing teams of junior and senior resources.

Assets

• PMI Certification
• Knowledge of the components of public awareness tactics is not required but would be an asset
