Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Retail Property Manager to oversee the daily operations, tenant relations, and financial performance of a portfolio of retail properties. The ideal candidate will ensure that all properties are well-maintained, fully leased, and operating efficiently to maximize asset value and tenant satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day management of assigned retail properties.
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants.
• Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and service requests promptly.
• Manage lease administration, including renewals, rent escalations, and enforcement of lease terms.
• Prepare and manage annual operating budgets and capital expenditure plans.
• Monitor and report on property performance, including income, expenses, and occupancy.
• Approve invoices and manage vendor contracts to ensure cost-effective operations.
• Collaborate with leasing teams to maintain high occupancy rates.
• Assist in tenant onboarding and build-out coordination.
• Conduct market research to support leasing strategies.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for ownership.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of property operations and tenant interactions.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in commercial property management is required.
• Strong knowledge of lease agreements, property operations, and budgeting.
• Proficiency in Yardi will be considered an asset
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple properties.
• Leadership experience will be a strong asset.
