We are seeking an experienced Proposal Writer to join our family as a key member of our Sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the strategic and technical writing process through crafting sales proposal documents in support of the national bidding process.

Position summary

• Assessment and preparation of bid package responses, translating solutions into effective proposals
• Liaise with multiple departments to obtain information required for bid responses
• Editing, revising, and improving existing documentation for optimal clarity and consistency
• Coordinate proposal development through regular proposal meetings to create project schedules and coordinate responsibilities.
• Creation of impactful visuals, as needed.
• High volume document creation and file management.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines
• Flexibility in scheduled hours, as required.
• General administrative duties supporting the sales department.
• Additional assignments, as directed.

What we are looking for

• Post-secondary background in writing, communications, business, or other related field.
• Minimum 2 years proposal development experience; within the facilities services space is highly preferred.
• Exemplary written, verbal, and digital communication skills.
• Motivated, self-starter.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Word, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio and Adobe Acrobat is required.
• Strong formatting skills, experience using Word templates
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and multitasking skills are essential.

Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check.
