Role: SAP MM and SD Consultant

Duration: 6 months plus very likely extension.

Location: Burlington, ON (hybrid)

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the industry, is seeking an experienced SAP MM (Materials Management) and SD (Sales and Distribution) Consultant to join their team for a 6-month contract. This role will be hybrid, requiring both on-site and remote work flexibility to Burlington, ON.

Your New Role:

• Provide SAP support and expertise in the MM and SD modules, ensuring effective integration and functionality within the client's existing systems.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, sales, and logistics, to optimize processes and enhance overall system performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to MM and SD functionalities, providing timely and effective solutions to minimize disruptions.
• Conduct system testing and validation, ensuring that new enhancements and changes are properly implemented and meet business needs.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to processes, configurations, and user manuals to support end-users and facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Provide user training and support to ensure effective utilization of SAP MM and SD functionalities.
• Stay updated on new SAP solutions and industry trends to recommend improvements and innovations

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Proven experience as an SAP Consultant specializing in MM and SD modules, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP implementation, configuration, and support processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Experience with data migration, system upgrades, and performance optimization.
• SAP certification in MM and/or SD is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment.
