About Support Engineer
Support Engineers are responsible for providing support services after the customer has implemented the product. In this recruitment, you will be responsible for the support services of the Procurement product. When customers encounter issues while using the product, you will serve as the point of contact, accurately understanding the inquiries and responding according to the customers' needs. You will provide solutions or request fixes to the development team.

STAR students in Support Engineer Team will:

Overall Internship Schedule
First Half - October 2025 to End of March 2026
Based on training at SAP and self-developed personal development plans, students will advance their foundational learning necessary to become professionals. Through shadowing coach employees at their rotation destinations, they will deepen their understanding of the value SAP provides to its customers and the various job roles.
Those who wish to become full-time employees will have the opportunity to go through the selection process in January-March. Through assignments and interviews, we will confirm cultural fit and job suitability, and successful candidates will receive a preliminary offer for employment starting in April 2027.

Second Half - April 2026 to March 2027 (For those who have received a preliminary offer)
Practical work experience and pre-employment training. Training covers essential professional skills (manners, presentations, etc.), IT basics, English, accounting basics, latest digital trends, and specialized knowledge for each job role. Opportunities to apply skills in practice. Understand SAP, learn how to work in a global company, and develop oneself.

Eligibility Requirements for Applicants　

• Will be graduating in March 2027.
• Can join from Oct 2025 to end of March 2027. 
• Must be able to work in Japan during the program. 
• Can work for 16~20 hours per week. Flexibility in working hours that align with your university schedule.

Qualifications and Competencies　

• Preferred to study Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related disciplines. (Nice to have experience in Java, SQL)
• Have a keen interest in technology, innovation, and how digital platforms can address business challenges. 
• Be proactive problem-solvers with a passion for learning, growth mindset and capable of thriving under pressure. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Fluent in Japanese
• Good writing/reading skills in English

サポートエンジニアとは

サポートエンジニアは、お客様が製品を導入した後に提供するサポートサービスを担当します。今回の募集では、調達購買製品のサポートサービスを担当していただきます。お客様がその製品を使用しているときに不具合が発生した際、問い合わせ窓口として内容を正しく理解し、お客様のニーズに沿って対応します。解決方法を提示したり、開発チームに修正依頼をしたりします。

インターンシップ全体のスケジュール

前半（2025年10月～2026年3月末）

SAPでの研修や自身で策定する自己能力開発プランに基づきプロフェッショナルとして必要となる基礎学習を進めるとともに、ローテーション先でのコーチ社員のシャドーイングを通じて、SAPのお客様にとっての価値、各職種について理解を深めます。前半のインターンシップを経て、正社員への選考の機会があります。課題や面接を通じてカルチャーフィットや職種の適性を確認し、合格者は2027年4月入社に向けた内々定をオファーします。

後半（2026年4月～2027年3月、内々定者向け）

より実践的な就業体験を積むとともに入社後のトレーニングを先取りします。トレーニングでは、社会人で必要となる基礎スキル（マナー、プレゼンetc.）はもちろん、IT基礎、英語、会計基礎、最新のデジタルトレンド、各職種の専門知識などを身につけ、実践としてアウトプットする場も充実させていきます。SAPのことを理解し、グローバル企業での働き方を知る機会、自身を磨く機会となります。

応募資格

• 2027年3月に卒業予定の方。
• 2025年10月から2027年3月末まで参加できる方。
• プログラム期間中、日本で働ける方。
• 週16～20時間働ける方。大学のスケジュールに合わせた柔軟な勤務時間が可能です。

学業/学生の研究活動と両立することを最優先に設計しています。学生の学業の繁忙期に合わせて、参加ボリュームは柔軟に変更可能です。

求める人物像

• コンピュータサイエンス、エンジニアリング、情報システム、または関連分野を専攻していることが望ましい。（Java、SQLの経験があるとなお良いですが、必須ではありません。）
• デジタル製品がビジネス課題をどう解決するかということについて、関心を持っていること。
• 学習意欲が高く、成長志向を持ち、プレッシャーの中でも活躍できる積極性、課題解決に取り組めること。チームワーカー。
• 日本語が流暢であること。
• 英語の読み書きができること。
