The Senior Business Analyst role offers an exciting opportunity to manage and enhance dashboards, data models, and reports. You will manage and optimize data models, dashboards, and reports in Tableau and Power BI, ensuring seamless data flow across sources like CRM and financial systems. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Data Model and Report Maintenance:

• Maintain and update existing data models, dashboards, and reports in Power BI and Tableau to ensure they remain relevant and accurate.
• Ensure the data flow and integration across various sources (e.g., CRM systems, financial data, and sales data) is optimized and error-free.

Data Visualization and Reporting:

• Design and create impactful visualizations, dashboards, and reports using Power BI and Tableau that clearly communicate key business insights to stakeholders.
• Tailor reports and visualizations to the specific needs of different departments, including finance, sales, and operations, ensuring relevance and clarity.
• Utilize business goals and KPIs to design meaningful visuals that aid in business decision-making and performance tracking.

Collaboration with Teams:

• Work closely with the finance team to assist in the preparation of financial reports and KPI analysis.
• Communicate regularly with the sales team to identify gaps and opportunities in CRM analytics, providing insights that help drive sales performance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders across various departments to identify data requirements, address issues, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Continuous Improvement and Learning:

• Stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in data visualization, analytics, and business intelligence.
• Take initiative to learn new techniques, tools, or methodologies in Power BI and Tableau
• Research and explore multiple solutions to find optimal approaches to solving complex business problems using data.

Support Decision-Making:

• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to business leaders based on data analysis and reporting, helping to guide key business decisions.
• Contribute to the strategic decision-making process by providing data-driven insights that align with overall company goals and KPIs.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• Bachelors/master's in mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong foundation in algorithmic problem-solving and data structures, essential for building efficient and accurate measures.
• Familiarity with web development concepts (e.g., REST APIs, tokens) is a plus for sharing data visualizations effectively.

Power BI & Tableau Expertise:

• Proficiency in creating, maintaining, and updating interactive dashboards and visual reports in both Power BI and Tableau.
• Understanding of Tableau data modeling, including building calculated fields and parameters

DAX and Data Modeling:

• Intermediate knowledge of DAX code, including functions such as CALCULATE, FILTER, time-intelligence functions, and calculation groups.
• Ability to work with row context, filter context, and manage relationships in Power BI to create meaningful data models and reports.

Visualization and Design:

• Strong eye for design and a deep understanding of how to create visually appealing, effective, and user-friendly dashboards.
• Experience with best practices in data visualization to help stakeholders quickly understand key metrics and trends.

Analytical Skills:

• Solid analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
• Ability to interpret complex datasets and present findings in an easily digestible and visually compelling way.

Communication Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable presenting data findings to senior leadership and across departments.

Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking:

• Strong problem-solving abilities to identify business opportunities and solve complex challenges.
• An analytical mindset that is able to algorithmically solve problems in relation to building data metrics
