A leading organization at the forefront of quantum technology is seeking an experienced Senior Quantum Hardware Physicist to join their team. This role focuses on the design, fabrication, and characterization of advanced superconducting quantum hardware, aimed at building next-generation quantum processors.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing high-coherence quantum devices and scalable quantum computing systems. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams specializing in quantum physics, cryogenics, electronics, and software is a key component of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and simulation of superconducting quantum circuits, with an emphasis on maximizing qubit coherence and performance.
• Manage fabrication processes for superconducting devices, coordinating with internal resources and external fabrication facilities as needed.
• Perform cryogenic measurements and device characterization using dilution refrigerators and other advanced equipment.
• Analyze experimental data to diagnose performance limitations and recommend improvements in design and fabrication processes.
• Contribute to the integration of high-fidelity qubits into scalable quantum computing architectures, including control and readout systems.
• Collaborate with experts across multiple disciplines to advance quantum hardware technologies.
• Prepare documentation, technical reports, and deliver presentations both internally and at scientific conferences.

Required Qualifications:

• PhD in Physics, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a focus on experimental quantum information science, quantum optics, or condensed matter physics.
• Proven experience in the design, fabrication, and experimental testing of superconducting quantum circuits.
• Expertise in microwave engineering, cryogenic systems, and low-noise measurement techniques.
• Strong data analysis and modeling skills, with proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or similar tools.
• Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in cleanroom environments with advanced nanofabrication techniques.
• Familiarity with quantum error correction methods and scalable quantum architectures.
• Practical knowledge of cryogenic systems, including dilution refrigerators and cryogenic electronics.
• A record of publications or conference presentations in quantum hardware or related fields.
