Who Should Apply?

You are a self-motivated, talented tradesperson looking to challenge yourself as you grow your technical career. You enjoy a fast-paced environment where you are responsible for the planning, management, execution and completion of your projects. You enjoy responsibility and want to be involved in solving technical challenges. You have a customer service mindset and are keen to gain world experience by being the onsite liaison and technical representative between PREP and our customers. This means traveling when needed to work with world leaders in the petroleum exploration and production sector on state-of-the-art equipment.

Role/Mandate:

This position is responsible for all aspects of customer service in house and in field as well as creating follow-up documentation of results.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Inspection, troubleshooting, testing, and repairs of PREP products.
  • Assembly of new products
  • Commissioning of PREP products
  • Coordinate with PREP aftermarket, supply chain and engineering department in regards to replacement parts.
  • Prepare detailed reports and notes.
  • Assist in preparing technical memos.
  • Support Customers directly with Technical Assistance and Direction.

Knowledge, Skills, Attributes & Experience:

  • Certification in Industrial Trade, i.e. Millwright, Heavy-Duty Mechanic, or ASTTBC technologist.
  • Relevant work experience with gearbox and rotating power transmission products; mobile and stationary hydraulics; and on/off highway trucks.
  • Experience with Energy or Mining equipment an asset.
  • Experience with Electrical/VFD/PLC.
  • Strong service background.
  • Ability to interact with customers in a professional manner.
  • Good organization of tools and materials.
  • Computer literacy including experience with the MS Office programs.
  • Consistent execution of safe work habits and practices.
  • Confident, articulate, and self-disciplined.
  • Team player.
  • Valid passport; ability to travel to meet company’s needs.
  • Recent driver’s abstract.
