Biena is redefining how Americans snack with its award-winning line of plant-based snacks. Biena is distributed in 15,000 stores nationally including Whole Foods Market, Target, Kroger, and more. Biena has been recognized as a Best New Healthy Snack by Shape Magazine, Food Network, Cooking Light and more.

Biena is looking for a Social Media Intern to help grow a large, die-hard fan base through our social media channels. In this role you will be working directly with Biena’s Head of Marketing and external agency partners to grow followers and build community engagement.

This role requires someone with a zest for creativity in marketing. We are looking for a sharpened skillset in social media, content creation, photography/videography, and someone who’s always looking for the next big thing in marketing. Copywriting skills along with graphic design skills are a bonus. Your ideas and creations will directly impact the trajectory of the Biena Snacks brand as we work together to build our internal content creation process and capabilities.

This role is for a self-starter who is creative, collaborative, and driven, and wants to have a big impact at a fast-growing company. Biena’s culture is fun, collaborative and team oriented.

LOCATION: Boston-Area. Hybrid role, working on-site at Biena HQ 3 days a week

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Concept and develop TikTok/ Instagram content in collaboration with social media team, creating a minimum of 4 videos per week
• Work in collaboration with marketing team to develop concepts, copy, and graphics for Biena’s LinkedIn account, posting a minimum of 2x per week
• Engage with Biena’s communities on Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok, in coordination with our marketing and social media team
• Execute influencers and ambassador outreach to amplify on-going programs and develop deeper relationships with partners with a high brand-fit
• Track and analyze performance of LinkedIn and TikTok content to understand what’s working, or not working, to achieve objectives
• Support marketing team to create visual graphics, as needed

Requirements

• A love of social media, including trend watching and understanding of the execution styles for different channels such as Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
• Highly creative and evidence of successful approach in creating video content for social including concepting, shooting, and editing. Please provide examples of past work.
• Experience creating graphics using Canva or other tools
• Passion and personal experience with natural foods and snacks
• Experience and comfort filming food-related content
• Strong organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at once
• Extremely collaborative, with strong interpersonal skills and an enduring sense of humor.
• Ability to get to Biena HQ in Needham, MA to collaborate with team 3 days/week
