My client, who are a robust Digital Advertising Agency based in Toronto, offer a full suite of
digital media services, paired with the attentive client service of a boutique agency. By combining the industry’s best technology platforms with a skilled and seasoned team of Programmatic experts, they effectively amplify brand messages and drive real, quantifiable results on behalf of their clients.
They plan and execute digital media campaigns including Paid Search, Programmatic Display/Video, Social Media/Native, Digital Audio, Digital Out of Home and Connected TV. This is a great opportunity to join a great team of 15 Media experts in Toronto, Canada. Employees work from home but are expected to attend off-site meetings and social events with the agency and clients as required.
We are looking for a Team Lead, Digital Activation to manage the Digital Activation (Ad-Ops) team.
The Team Lead will manage the day-to-day operations of the Digital Activation team, ensuring
campaigns are executed to the highest standard. This role involves balancing hands-on campaign
management with leadership responsibilities, including mentoring team members and driving strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee campaign execution, ensuring alignment with client objectives and KPIs. Collaborate with
the Client Services team to maintain strategic consistency and meet deliverables.
• Plan, launch, and optimize complex digital campaigns across programmatic, social, and SEM
platforms. This role requires regular in-platform work.
• Manage campaign budgets, optimizing performance to meet KPIs while maximizing cost efficiency.
Address and resolve any issues in collaboration with the Client Services team.
• Lead and mentor a team of Platform Specialists, fostering their professional growth and
development.
• Set up and maintain Google Tag Manager, tracking pixels, and third-party ad-serving tags as needed.
• Develop and maintain campaign reports and dashboards (preferably using Looker Studio), providing timely, data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Continuously identify opportunities to enhance campaign performance, improve agency operations, and strengthen client and partner relationships.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in digital advertising, preferably within a digital media agency.
• Experience managing digital activation or ad operations teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs; advanced skills (e.g. VBA,
queries, keyboard shortcuts) are a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of Google DV360 or other DSPs (e.g. The Trade Desk, StackAdapt).
• Advanced knowledge of Google CM360 or other ad-serving platforms.
• Advanced understanding of social platforms (Meta, Reddit, TikTok, Snapchat).
• Strong expertise in Google Tag Manager, including advanced coding and conversion tracking setup.
• Experience with paid search (SEM).
• Proficiency with Google Data Studio (Looker Studio) or other dashboard software.
• Familiarity with web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and research skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across all levels of an
organization.

Salary: 90-120k + bonus depending on experience
