Client: Broader Public Sector BPS

Type: Contract

Role: Technical Writer

Term: 12 months

Pay Rate: DOE

Start date: 2-3 weeks

Location: Toronto / Hybrid

Requirements: What you'll need

Skills, Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

Develop data & AI domain understanding and the different products within the domain.
Perform domain, user and persona research to understand target audience.
Develop high quality and maintain user guides, product descriptions, newsletters, FAQ’s, collateral, training material, etc.
Manage the publishing and distribution of above material.
Participate in agile projects to support the communication needs.

Skills & Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in technical writing preferably in the data domain.
Advanced skills with various writing and publishing technologies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills is a must.
Stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Ability working in Agile, fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Demonstrated experience collaborating with Developers, Testers and Program Managers to develop and document features in online help content
Demonstrated experience creating content in an engineering, IT or technical environment
Experience with tools/software for composing comprehensive documents and presentation materials using ( MS-Office Suite, SharePoint, Adobe Framework or Adobe Acrobat); Other desktop publishing software experience would be beneficial.
