Reports To: Store Manager

Shift Hours: 4-5 hours per day (7 days a week work)

Pay Rate: $17.40/hour

Job Overview:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Clothing Store Cleaner to maintain a clean, organized, and inviting shopping environment for our customers. The ideal candidate will ensure the store is kept spotless and adheres to health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum all flooring areas, including the sales floor, fitting rooms, and backroom.
• Dust and wipe down shelves, display units, and checkout counters.
• Clean mirrors, glass surfaces, and windows to maintain a polished look.
• Ensure fitting rooms are tidy and free of debris.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables following store guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness in staff areas, including the breakroom and washrooms.
• Regularly sanitize high-touch areas such as door handles, checkout stations, and fitting room surfaces.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed.
• Report maintenance issues or potential hazards to management.
• Assist with occasional deep cleaning tasks during store closures or special events.

Requirements:

• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment.
• Comfortable working flexible shifts, including early mornings or evenings.
• Physical stamina to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
