Lead Cloud Systems Engineer

Worksite: Mary Ester, FL 32569

Clearance: SECRET (can hold TSSCI)

Conversion Salary: 160-185k

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10 years of Enterprise Cloud Services experience
• CISSP Certification highly desired; Security+ is required if CISSP is not obtained
• SECRET Security Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and/or Cybersecurity strongly desired
• Prior Lead or Supervisory Experience

Job Description:

• Minimum of 5 years within cloud engineering environments, particularly with AWS.
• Strong understanding of AWS cloud services, architecture, and best practices.
• Familiarity with cloud security principles, deployment methodologies, and CI/CD processes.
• -Provide technical systems engineering assistance through:
• Research
• Collaboration
• Creation and upkeep of standardized specifications
• Work with engineers and stakeholders to:
• Determine system requirements
• Formulate specifications, performance metrics, and optimal setups
• -Create and update technical documentation, including:
• System designs
• Requirements
• Specifications
• -Provide technical advice and support to team members, including:
• Less experienced personnel
• Engage in testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining cloud-based systems and services
• -Contribute to defining project scope and objectives by:
• Involving relevant stakeholders
• Ensuring technical feasibility
• -Coordinate efforts among various teams across different engineering disciplines to deliver:
• A cohesive, integrated product to project stakeholders
• -Conduct risk management during task execution to:
• Reduce project risks
• -Assist in creating program deliverables and essential artifacts required for:
• Securing design approval
• Supporting service operations and sustainment efforts
