Network Infrastructure Specialist

What You’ll Do:

• Configure, deploy, and support network switches, wireless access points, structured cabling, and voice infrastructure.
• Work closely with vendors and end-users throughout the project lifecycle.
• Design, install, and maintain technical network infrastructure, including structured cabling, cable management, and connections.
• Oversee technology-related construction activities, ensuring compliance with quality and technical standards.

What You Bring:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in designing, pricing, installing, and supporting large-scale network/cabling infrastructure in an industrial setting.
• Exposure to Cisco switching, VoIP, and enterprise wireless systems.
• Knowledge of industry codes and standards (TIA/EIA-568, Occupational Health and Safety Act).
• Post-secondary education in Computer Networking or a related field.
• Cisco certifications (CCNA – Voice, Wireless, Routing & Switching) are an asset.
• Structured cabling certifications (Belden, Panduit) are an asset.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with IT processes, change management, and quality assurance.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage small projects, define requirements, and develop scope-of-work documents.
• Strong time management, organization, and communication skills.
