_*Treasury SAP Consultant – Contract (Onsite)*_
Our client, a leading energy supplier and community-focused utility, is seeking a contract opportunity for a *Treasury SAP Consultant* for their *Portland, Oregon headquarters*. This contractor would assist with their SAP upgrade by testing Treasury processes to ensure the Treasury module will run smoothly after the upgrade, help implement key features of the SAP Treasury module that weren’t implemented in the initial project, trouble shoot and solve Treasury module issues, and assist with how to structure our water subsidiaries bank accounts for optimal cash management in our SAP Treasury module. The Treasury/SAP Consultant will work collaboratively across business functions (IT, accounting, tax, and legal) to assist the Treasury Lead with implementation of solutions. The consultant should come with *Treasury cash management and SAP Treasury* module experience.
*Contract Duration: 1.5 months*
*Pay: $63.00 - $67.50/hr. DOE*
*Location: Portland, Oregon – HYBRID*
*Key Responsibilities for Treasury SAP Consultant:*
_SAP Treasury Module Support:_
* Test Treasury processes to ensure smooth functionality post-SAP upgrade.
* Assist in implementing SAP Treasury features not included in the initial rollout.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the SAP Treasury module.
_Cash Management & Bank Account Optimization:_
* Support structuring of water subsidiaries’ bank accounts for optimal cash management in SAP.
* Assist with cash positioning, bank account management, and maintenance.
* Contribute to updating cash forecasts and Treasury journal entries for accounting close.
_Cross-Functional Collaboration:_
* Work closely with IT, accounting, tax, and legal teams to implement Treasury solutions.
* Provide support for regulatory reporting related to long-term debt issuances.
* Assist in preparing monthly Treasury reports for executives and the accounting team.
*Requirements/Qualifications for Treasury SAP Consultant:*
* Strong experience in Treasury cash management and SAP Treasury module.
* Proficiency in testing and troubleshooting Treasury processes within SAP.
* Ability to implement key SAP Treasury module features.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Effective communication and collaboration across IT, accounting, tax, and legal teams.
* Expertise in SAP Treasury module functionality and configuration.
* Knowledge of bank account structuring for optimal cash management in SAP.
* Understanding of Treasury cash positioning, commercial paper programs, and cash forecasting.
